Tempris, an internationally operating SME located south of Munich, has established a leading position in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and diagnostics industries with its innovative in-process control measurement systems.

Tempris systems are used for the measurement and transmission of product temperature with battery-free wireless sensor technology, which makes the freeze-drying process more efficient and safer under extreme environmental conditions and according to GMP standards. For our new production and administration site at the Sandoz Campus in Holzkirchen near Munich, we are looking for you as

Head of Global After Sales Services

This is a permanent full-time position (Reference SV-02).

Your challenge

  • As part of the management team, you will be responsible for the strategic orientation and further development of our after-sales services.
  • You will participate in installations at our customers’ sites and ensure optimal, on-time execution with maximum customer satisfaction.
  • You and your team are in regular contact with our customers and help with advice and assistance to overcome customer-specific or application-specific challenges.
  • You ensure the further development of the necessary QM standard modules / documents and are responsible for the correct implementation of our customer projects according to GAMP and cGMP guidelines.
  • In cooperation with our sales and R&D departments, you will develop adapt our products and services to meet new customer requirements.
  • Change requests for product and process improvements are initiated by you and presented to the Change Control Board for prioritisation.
  • You take responsibility for achieving your sales targets, adhering to cost budgets and developing your team.

Your profile

  • Experience: Lead management responsibility in the field of technical service ideally in a pharmaceutical environment or with customer-specific systems and electronic devices, preferably also with robotics and PLC.
  • Education: Degree in economics/engineering, pharmacy/food science or equivalent professional experience e.g. in technical customer service and/or the validation of pharmaceutical equipment/processes.
  • Technical Skills: Expert in technical service; hands-on skills and experience with process management and process documentation in a pharmaceutical environment; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Abilities: Independent, structured and professional way of working, commitment, flexibility, listening, analytical thinking, service- and customer-oriented approach to overcome complex challenges.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (mandatory) and German (preferred).
  • Travel: Willingness to travel internationally (about 50% of the time).
