Information for our B2B customers according to §19a ElektroG
As the distributor/manufacturer of an electronic temperature management system (TMS), it is our responsibility to ensure that electrical appliances are taken back and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Our Tempris brand appliances are registered with the Stiftung Elektro-Altgeräte Register (EAR) under WEEE reg. no. DE 95017813.
Sustainability is important to us
Tempris has set up a free take-back station at the company site in D-83607 Holzkirchen to enable our corporate customers to handle our old electronic devices sustainably. We encourage all our European industrial customers to make use of this take-back concept at the end of the life cycle of our devices, such as when they are irreparably damaged or when there is a system change. In the interests of sustainability, we aim to give the entire used appliance a second life, but at least recycle some of the components.
With this in mind, we ask you to consider the “crossed-out waste garbage can” on our old or defective appliances as an appeal to treat them as recyclable or valuable. Old appliances marked in this way must not be disposed of in unsorted municipal waste!
Important:
- Temperature sensors or other consumables must be cleaned by the industrial customer before being sent to Tempris and must not be contaminated with toxic substances.
- If the old device to be disposed of contains company or personal data, the customer is responsible for ensuring that this data is backed up and removed from the old device.
- The customer shall bear the costs for the return of old devices. The customer shall not incur any costs for processing, recycling, or disposal.
